LEGENDARY SINGER DIANA ROSS TO PERFORM AT DAILY’S PLACE

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Live Nation and Bold Events today announced that DIANA ROSS is bringing her “In the Name of Love” tour to Daily’s Place on Wednesday, June 28 at 8 p.m.  Tickets will go on sale to the general public here beginning Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m. EDT.  Jags365 and Daily’s Rewards Members will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, March 23 at 10 a.m. EDT.  

In a remarkable career spanning six decades, Ross has established herself as the consummate artist as well as one of the most iconic female singers of all time.  Beginning in the ‘60s as lead singer of the world-renowned Motown group, THE SUPREMES, Ross and the group achieved the unprecedented feat of 12 no. 1 singles in the U.S.  After jumpstarting her solo career, Ross continued to top the charts and later was named “Female Entertainer of the Century” by Billboard magazine.  In 1988, Ross was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Supremes. 

Daily’s Place is currently under construction adjacent to EverBank Field, the home of the National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars.  A partnership between the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville, the state-of-the-art facility’s 5,500-seat amphitheater and flex facility will sit beneath an iconic roof structure, creating a one-of-a-kind outdoor concert atmosphere.
